Service Description

Ever wondered what it’s like to care for horses as a profession? Service Description: Find out what it actually takes to care for horses and keep a stable running day to day. This is not a horseback riding lesson. You are stepping into a working stable environment, learning how horses are cared for, handled, and managed, while gaining insight into the responsibility, structure, and attention to detail involved in equine care. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE The reality of working with horses and what life in a stable actually involves How horses communicate through body language, and how trust has to be built between horse and handler The fundamentals of horse care, including grooming, feeding, handling, and stable management An introduction to the responsibility involved in maintaining horse welfare and daily stable operations HOW THE SESSION RUNS Stable safety briefing and yard orientation Meet and connect with your assigned horse or pony, including temperament and behavioural awareness Learn basic horse handling techniques and safe leading practices Groom and care for your horse while learning to recognise signs of comfort and discomfort Experience stable management tasks such as mucking out and general yard upkeep Assist with showering and washing down horses, ensuring their comfort and safety Learn about feeding routines and daily stable operations Participate in a riding experience where appropriate, or take on supporting roles such as horse leader or side walker WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH A realistic understanding of what working with horses involves beyond riding Hands-on exposure to horse care, handling, and stable operations A deeper appreciation for the responsibility, patience, and connection required in equine environments A grounded insight into daily life in a working stable Minimum group size: 3 participants In wet weather conditions, the programme will continue with alternative stable-based activities, including simulated horse care and handling exercises where required. PRE-REQUISITES FOR RIDING For safety and welfare considerations: Maximum participant weight: 60kg Individuals with certain medical conditions may be advised not to ride Alternative participation options, such as horse leading or stable support activities, will be assigned where necessary Bookings close one week in advance. In partnership with the Equestrian Federation of Singapore.

Any liability of Dayblazer is limited to the amount paid for the experience. • You confirm that you are fit to participate, will follow all safety instructions, and are responsible for your personal belongings. • You consent to the collection and use of your personal data for booking and administration purposes, and to the use of photos or videos taken during the experience for promotional purposes unless you notify us otherwise. • Participants must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent. • Host cancellations will receive a full refund or credit note. Participant cancellations made at least 7 days before the session will receive a credit note. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable and non-transferable. • By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver and policy.
